So, in the next few days I will be off and away again for a conference about my post-doc topic.

I’m very exited to be able to present at the International Association of Inter-American Studies, which holds its bi-annual meeting in Lima (Peru) this August. The conference’s theme “De/Colonization in the Americas: Continuity and Change” seems to go together well with what I’m planning to investigate, and I’m really looking forward to meeting some people there who can point my project into the right direction. And, obviously, Peru sounds great as well.

This also means that I won’t be answering my e-mails on a regular basis until the end of August, so please be patient if contacting me.
