The colours of the Hanseatic League, so prominently featured on my home-page, are a thing of the past. Well, obviously they are, as the League does not exist any more, but also on a more personal level: I’ve been contracted as a post-doc by the University of Constance, and in September will move from the very North of Germany to its Southernmost part.

Two years at the Graduate School The Problem of the Real in the Cultures of Modernity await me at Lake Constance, close to the Alps and Swiss chocolate. Not bad. But I still won’t change the Hanseatic colours…
